Thankful for Partnership

Eucalyptus

A partner organization called Sea Partners, has donated 600 eucalyptus trees to be planted at the edges of the fence. The founder has visited our current orphanage and our new location and he encouraged us to press on in words and by this upcoming gift.

SEA Partners’ vision:

One potential goal is to sell eucalyptus trees for construction poles, firewood and charcoal to generate income for the orphanage. Once a eucalyptus tree is harvested, it regrows bigger and faster. Often it will have two or three shoots increasing subsequent years harvests and profits.Sustainability can be reached after 5 years once the first year’s trees are harvested and sold.

Teach To Transform, TTT

is planning to send another team this month to set up drip irrigation in areas not completed last time. The organization will also purchase a water tank (3000 liters) to be used for agriculture. They will also introduce a new course called 5000+ to Nile Orphan Care. Currently, our goal is to plant cash crops for both consumption and to generate resources for the organization.
