Orphans and water Crisis

Just like other times of Nile Orphan Care operation in South Sudan, the organization is fully committed to its mission of restoring hope for orphans regardless of enormous challenges is facing each day. One of the major problems that the organization is facing is water crisis, not only because the water is not clean, but the price has soared, and it keeps increasing each day. In our program, the organization used to spend $ 100 per month on 3000 litters fill-up 3 times each week, but now Nile Orphan Care spend $ 250.00 a month on water alone and, this price will continue to rise as economic situation in the country get worse each day.

I am deeply concern that if this water crisis is not address on timely manner, it will seriously setback our endeavor of rescuing these orphans. So, I am appealing to Love the Hungry, Teach to Transform, WaterStep and all people of goodwill to assist Nile Orphan Care meet the goal of $ 22,000.00 for drilling and setting up water system at Nile Orphan Care. I believe if we all join hands in this project, it will not only help provide clean water to orphans, but it will generate resources to the organization such as an expansion of agriculture sector.
