Fundraising Event: Saturday, May 19th, 2018
On Saturday, May 19, 2018, Nile Orphan Care held its national, historic fundraising event under the theme: Construction of Orphanage Home. The event was well received by the surrounding communities, representative from organizations, members from National Legislative Assembly, including Hon. Deng Dau Deng Malek, Chairperson of National Commission for War Disabled, Widows and Orphans, Hon. Ann Lino Wuor, Bishop of Twic East Dioces Ezekiel Diing Ajang, and many other dignitaries, including artist Johnson Jok Lal. Hon. Deng appeals to children agencies such as Save the Children, United Nation Children’s Fund (UNICEF) to give support to orphanage center. Despite the hardships that the people of South Sudan are facing, $ 650.00 was raised and designated for the construction of the orphanage home.
