UPDATE on the new facility

1. Toilets. As you can see from the picture below, the foundation and septic tank are complete. The only remaining parts are the walls and roof.

2. Gate. Since the fence was finished last year, the gate has yet to be put up due to a lack of budget.

3. Kitchen. The organization would like to put up a kitchen where meals for the children will be prepared. This building, at least for now, will not include dining and storage because the inclusion of these sections may significantly increase the cost.

Water

It is very sad to see our children continue to buy and drink dirty water while their clean water is available at the site. It is also sad for our organization to continue paying rent while this money could be used to develop projects at the new facility site.

We are looking forward to using the well and water tower that was made possible by the support of Love the Hungry.

As we all been praying and working together as one team, it is our hope that the children can be moved to their permanent home as soon as these projects are completed. Nile Orphan Care has raised a little over $ 2000 and our board is already putting it to use. Thank you to each and everyone of you for being a part of Nile Orphan Care. Together, we will finish strong in Jesus name.
